LESSON POLICIES The cost of lessons is $92 /mo., based on four 30 min. lessons. Payment is due at the first lesson of each month.   When there is a 5-lesson month, the cost remains $92 .  The extra lessons will replace holidays and will also   be reserved for the teacher to use as a sick or vacation day.  (Example:  Labor Day is replaced w/ an extra Monday in October.) On days when school is cancelled due to snow/ice, we will still have lessons unless you hear from me. Please call or e-mail about any scheduling or other issues; if discussed at the lesson, the time will need to be deducted from the lesson time.  This is to ensure that I start each lesson on time. Make up lessons are not guaranteed but, schedule permitting, may be arranged when proper notice is given (24 hours, except in case of sudden illness or emergency). No lesson will be made up if lesson is missed without notification. It is the parents responsibility to call and schedule a makeup lesson, however I will do my best to offer times as they come available. If a student chooses not to make-up a lesson, they forfeit the money for that lesson. Time slots cannot be held for those wishing to take a short leave from lessons. One month’s notice is required when discontinuing lessons. At least one recital will be held each year.  Participated is encouraged but not mandatory.
